Version 14 Theme for Zed

A dark and light theme for Zed, built around the Version 14 brand palette: high contrast accents on deep neutrals.

Variants

VariantDescription
Version 14 DarkDeep dark backgrounds with a violet accent (#B7A2FF)
Version 14 BlackPure black backgrounds (#000000) with the same violet accent, for OLED displays
Version 14 LightBright neutral surfaces with a violet accent (#5F3BBB)

The violet accent is a placeholder hue. It replaces a retired lime green accent and will change again once a permanent hue is chosen. The rest of the palette (lightness, chroma, contrast ratios) is stable.

  1. Open Zed and go to Extensions (Cmd+Shift+X).
