How to install

With Forge Super installed, the button above opens the app on this extension, where you press Install. Nothing is installed until you do.

You can also open the Extensions panel in the app and search for Tech49 Theme. The extension's id is tech49-theme.

Tech49 for Zed

Dark color theme inspired by the movie Oblivion — the Zed port of the Tech49 VS Code theme.

Ships three variants: Tech49 (default, "Tower"), Tech49 (Classic) (pure-black backgrounds), and Tech49 (Vivid Comments) (brighter comment color).

Install

Once published: open Zed → cmd-shift-p → zed: extensions → search Tech49.

Develop locally

  1. Open Zed → cmd-shift-p → zed: install dev extension
  2. Select this zed/ directory.
  3. Pick the theme via cmd-k cmd-t → Tech49.

Edits to themes/tech49.json hot-reload on save.
