You can also open the Extensions panel in the app and search for Pearl Theme. The extension's id is pearl-theme.

Pearl Theme for Zed

Pearl — sepia light, charcoal dark.

A dual-flavor color theme crafted for Zed.

Variants

  • Pearl Light: A warm, sepia-toned parchment background paired with muted charcoal inks for calm daylight focus.
  • Pearl Dark: A deep, charcoal dark aesthetic with balanced contrast for low-light coding sessions.

Installation

  1. Open Zed.
  2. Open the Extensions view (cmd-shift-x on macOS or ctrl-shift-x on Linux/Windows).
  3. Search for Pearl Theme.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Open the theme selector (cmd-k cmd-t) and select Pearl Light or Pearl Dark.
