How to install

With Forge Super installed, the button above opens the app on this extension, where you press Install. Nothing is installed until you do.

You can also open the Extensions panel in the app and search for Github Classic. The extension's id is github-classic.

GitHub classic themes for Zed.

The classic GitHub Light and GitHub Dark themes were built before github.com added themes.

Install via Zed Extensions

  1. Open the Command Palette with ⌘ + Shift + P (Macos) or Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows, Linux)
  2. Open the Extensions view with the zed: extensions command
  3. Search for Github Classic
  4. Click on Install.
  5. Open the Command Palette again
  6. Open the Theme selector with the theme selector: toggle command
  7. Search for Github Classic and choose an Github Classic variant.

Available Options

  • Github Light Classic
  • Github Dark Classic
