With Forge Super installed, the button above opens the app on this extension, where you press Install. Nothing is installed until you do.

You can also open the Extensions panel in the app and search for Fluent OLED. The extension's id is fluent-oled-theme.

About

Fluent OLED strips the editor down to what matters: your code. Core surfaces are pure black (#000000) for OLED/AMOLED displays, with subtle grayscale chrome and a GitHub-inspired syntax palette.

Install

Local theme file

  1. Create the Zed themes directory if needed:
    • macOS/Linux: ~/.config/zed/themes
    • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Zed\themes\
  2. Copy themes/fluent-oled.json into that directory.
  3. Open Zed and run theme selector: toggle.
  4. Select Fluent OLED.

Install as a dev extension

  1. Clone this repository.
  2. In Zed, run zed: install dev extension.
  3. Select this repository root (the folder containing extension.toml).
  4. Select Fluent OLED from the theme selector.
